A Necklace For Ellen

Decades ago, I fell in love with Edith Wharton's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, The Age of Innocence. Scorsece's 1993 adaption of the novel for the big screen was a tour de force and a visual feast. And Michelle Pfeifer as my favourite heroine Countess Ellen Olenska, a 1870's  unconventional New York socialite was splendid. She inspired this necklace.

This statement necklace features two Midnight Symphony motifs adorned with 4 sets of granule triads, twisted wire detailed bezel with a stunning blue topaz cabochon at its center draped with three strands of various coloured gemstones and a beautiful faceted swiss blue topaz focal on the side.
